Hopefully V1.5 (or even 2.0) and not v1.44 with just another bugfix.

Stabilizing the shutter shake or mirror slap or whatever it is issue would be good enough for me.

I believe the update will address possible focus issues with the future HDA* lenses. New AF motor probably is not programmed in the current firmware, just guessing..

I'm glad Ricoh listen to my request and have implemented the EFCS in OVFmode in this 1.5 firmware update. Thank you Ricoh.

Firmware can’t address hardware issues. What you want is a different camera.

Wouldn't the 2 second delay setting pull up the mirror and reduce the mirror slap completely?

It doesn't fix shutter shake. The only "fix" for that is to use the electronic shutter.

I'd like to see selectable focusing point colours in the OVF, focus peaking during video recording and improved AFC just to keep the masses happy.

If they can make sr correct for mirror slap and shutter shake it might be possible through a firmware update.

I somehow doubt shutter shake can be reduced significantly. Olympus did fix it via firmware for EM1, but they didn't have to deal with the mirror being in front of the sensor lol.

It would be cool if they added extra features that utilize IBIS (i.e. video stabilization), or added an option for smaller raw files/resolution - similar to what Nikon did with d850. I'd love to be able to take small raw photos for snapshots and travel stuff that wouldn't clog up my hard drives, but still have the flexibility of a raw file (I personally never shoot jpegs).

Yeah I know. But it would be great if it could be a firmware fix. Quite frankly, the deal that B&H has on the Nikon 810 right now is very tempting. The only thing I lack to jump ship is money to burn. If anybody has $20K out there they don't need, please PM me.
