The successor to the K3-ii should be the K-2, right in the middle between K-1 and K-3...

As for a mirrorless camera, quite obviously, MK-1 (if they keep the K mount, which they should)...

Easy, peasy... :-)

IMO they should keep the K-2 option for a second FF cam.
It. Will l come at some point anyway.
FF is K-1 forever. Just add MkII, III, IV, V, VI and e.t.c.

When they'll anounce the successor of the K3ii, using also a bit of the K-P technology that has proved to be good,

I believe the perfect name could be Pentax K 3.14,
because it is a bit more than the K-3ii, and also using K-P technology so a bit more than K-P,

so Pentax K-Pi is the good solution all around !

The other camera Adorama listet shortly had the following SKU IPXKZ922LS @ $ 7 599,-. Could this refer to a 645Zii with leaf shutter?

Yeah, but then it's going to be so hard to remember the full name and the name will take up all the space on the camera... There won't be any space for buttons or a screen or anything.

They could make it the "K-3.14..." After all, Pentax has already used the * in a camera name, so why not just three dots?

I've been expecting the K-3 followup to be called 'KA', but I guess 'KZ' would work as well.

Such drama queens! both of them! Their fear of offending people talking about the new Nikon mirrorless was pitiful. Her multiple comments on, "firmware may make it better," over and over when talking about how bad the camera was made me want to scream. I may have posted something similar on the you tube page.

K-3.14 (pi number) is great. With K-2.72 (e-number) to follow. And K- 1.41 (square root of 2) is not bad. And there are a lot more of math and physics constants to choose from.
