It'd be the highest resolution APS-C camera to date, if I'm not mistaken, but we know Pentax is always good for something unconventional. But 8.3 fps at 50 MP? I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be correct, or whether the intern at Adorama creating the listings just typed in the K3's specifications. Because with an all new sensor, processor etc., I'd be very surprised to find exactly the same continuous shooting speed down to the decimal place. Especially with such a high resolution - that'd take some serious processing power.
I sincerely doubt that we will see a 50 MP APS-C DSLR from Pentax based on current technology. Who the heck would want one? I suspect this was, as stated, a placeholder for the next Pentax APS-C DSLR and it wasn't supposed to be seen.
