Originally posted by ThorSanchez I wouldn't be thrilled. I have something like nine lenses. All of my workhorses are APS-C, although I think my 40mm LTD works on FF. My three other FF lenses are manual focus, two special purpose (Lomo Daguerreotype, Helios).
Any push to full frame would mean $1000s in new lenses or a retreat to old manual glass that won't give me the results I currently get from the K-3II.
The idea of the 24mpx mid range full frame market has been a void for quite some time. With recent flops by Nikon and Canon mirrorless and no D750 replacement Sony had almost no resistance against its A73. As much as i dislike Sony you have to admit they didn't miss the mark. All be it any one not noticing that particular void in the camera market would have to be blind or ignorant.
I wouldn't be against a 24mpx full frame mid range Pentax dslr
However a true
multipurpose aps-c dslr such as a K-3ii successor is sorely needed.

The X-T3 is very tempting indeed.
