If you look back at the previous articles on that website, which I don't particularly recommend doing if you value your time, there is no indication that they have had advance information about Pentax/Ricoh products of their own. It just seems to be announcements and rumors as reported on other websites. This one is so vague as to be useless. So I place no value on this report.
If I had to make a guess, I would say it will be previewed at CP+ and released around the same time as that new wide APS-C zoom, which they said was due in summer 2018. We should have the 50mm before then, and I think a GR successor is possible too. The other camera that is even more overdue than the high end APS-C is a successor to the K-S1 - something truly small and light, but I realize that a lot of people think that won't happen.
Basically, I interpret this quiet period as Ricoh working on things, and when they spend time on a product, they rarely disappoint (K-3, K-1 both had quiet periods before introduction). In the meantime, Ricoh has a pretty comprehensive line-up of cameras at the moment.

Even the older models match up quite well to Canon and Nikon equivalent models. So why rush out models for the sake of it?
