Interesting rumor/speculation/wishful thinking indeed. I don't believe much of it, but a small enough camera as such with a decent viewfinder (weather sealed) would be an interesting product.

I've thought about getting a GR just for my backpack while out n about. A full frame GR would be AWESOME! Would have to be WR too, though or no deal.

I'd love to see this new GR as I'd like to have a smaller mirrorless shooter to take anywhere more often than not.

I can't remember the last time someone showed me their awesome fixed lens point and shoot with no zoom range at all.
