usually No, inside the main exhibition.
but they have (I hope this year too) a separate area where small vendors selling discount camera gadgets + used camera and lenses of all brands.
From outside of the main exhibition room, if you face in the main exhibition's direction. it will be on the left end side of the same building. I am not sure if it is on the first or second floor but my memory said it is the second floor.

An image of the Ricoh booth has been posted on Ricoh’s website. You can’t tell much from it. They are likely to announce any new things they are exhibiting closer to the date.

?????????????????<???????>?RICOH IMAGING
I see Theta, WG and GR.
It looks good.

You might already know that this is just a picture of Ricoh booth in 2016.

Oh. Didn’t notice that at all! It says the image is a past booth. Sorry for the misinformation. Having said that, the events listed on the 2018 page are relevant to 2018. It’s just the image that is reused.

So here is what the actual booth will look like.

From here: http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/japan/news/cpplus2018/index.html

Of course, the K-1 Mark II is the main focus, but I wonder what's going to be in that glass case at the front.

It's a more open design than in the past. They also say the will be selling accessories at a separate stall in the annex hall, which is like past years.

not much room for surprises, perhaps, but Pentax very prominent - they seem to be treating it on a par with the theta

It's too small to be the D FA★ 50mm f/1.4

The problem is that the K-1ii announcement came too early for me. I don't have any reason to expect anything more from CP+ 2018, so I'm barely paying attention anymore.

Not even a finished lens? Look at the LCD on the K-1 II official images.

Nah, Imaging Days in Brussels, Belgium, 9-11 march.
That's a lot easy to go to for me

After all, that's where I could try a K-1, 70-200 and 150-450 before release so so other toys might be there too

If you look fairly closely, the first word on the pedestal appears to be "Reference" – I'm guessing it's a reference design for the proposed Large Aperture Wide-Angle Single Focus Lens that's on the Pentax FF Lens Roadmap. That lens is marked as "2018 or later", along with the D FA*85mm F1.4. It looks like it has a wide-angle hood attached, and it seems too short to be the DA*11-18/2.8, which we've already seen as a prototype.

Update: The Pentax Lens Roadmap published after I posted this now says the Large Aperture Wide-Angle and the D FA*85/1.4 will be "2019 or later" and "2019", respectively. That's a bit of a concern for those who have been waiting for these lenses, even worse for anyone holding out on buying a K-1 until they're available.

The button to trigger the sprinkler system over the Nikon and Canon stands to see how water tight their gear is.
