Ricoh Imaging at CP+ 2018

There is already a link with a floor plan of CP+ exhibition. http://www.cpplus.jp/download/en/cpplus2018_layoutplan.pdf
Ricoh Imaging will be next to Sigma and Tamron, near the doorway, it's pretty good for being visible, and especially visible to anyone looking at lenses.

I'm not sure about that, but often camera stores (not the manufacturers) offer products for sale directly (usually with some incentive provided by the manufacturer) and allow you to pick up in store.

What i meant by that remark was,being beside the main 2 3rd party lens makers,perhaps some K mount negotiation may take place.

Personally, id buy the Tamron 18-400mm superzoom as a travel lens.

Perhaps. Personally I would rather see rebadged offerings from Ricoh rather than K-mount lenses direct from Sigma and Tamron. That way Ricoh gets the revenue that they can then roll back into new product development. But then I'm thinking of the long term well-being of the company, a rarity in these forums.

At home there are some internet shops at the fair.
But not on Photokina, but in town there are offers.

Two and a half years ago, Pentax K3II came, a year and a half ago, WG-M2 came and Richo GRII came two and a half years ago.
I guess a new camera to put the lenses on comes on CP +.

I bet Ricoh doesn't have a new camera body to present at CP+, but eventually will have two new star prototype lenses ready to try. Some people interested in lenses will eventually stop at Sigma and Tamron, and just have to turn around to have a chance to see / try the Star lenses recently designed by Ricoh Imaging. Hopefully, one can compare Sigma/Tamron lens rendering to that of Pentax Star and make his mind about it.
