The K3 replacement would be a bad idea: they'd be sued by the families of all the pentaxians that had a heart-attack and died...with a smile on their face and the wallet in their hand.

Ricoh built an entire new division just for 3D-printing of D FA mock-up lenses:
3D Printers | Ricoh Europe
That's how important Pentax is for them!

(Yes, I expect they'll launch the D FA* 50mm f/1.4 at CP+).

DA * 11-18 / 2.8 was a surprise for me. If I update from DA12-24 is doubtful, but it's weatherproof and has 2.8. It indicates that a K3III will be coming this year.
K3II was a minor upgrade from K3, so I think Pentax makes a major change to K3III.
I am doubtful that it is already featured on CP +, but if so, visitors can go over to the displays next and ask Sigma and Tamron about lenses to K3III.

A GR 3 may come or an updated WG-M2, a more advanced WG-M is possible as well.
