To all Pentaxians,

No one knows about the Pentax K1 Mark II? I have received this message, but it would be great if it were officially confirmed.

"It will be the new version of Full Frame announced in February 2016 and equipped with a 36.4 megapixel sensor without an AA filter.
At the moment there are no rumors about the features, but the announcement is expected at the Japanese CP+ show in early March.

It is no coincidence that in the USA there has been a fall in the price of K-1".

No problem, it is an online magazine in Italy that periodically informs about articles of photography, magazine sales, and obviously rumors when there are any.
It is no coincidence that the cost of Pentax has also fallen in europe.

This article is dated January 29th, 2018. The tweet from Nokishita Camera that launched the rumour is from January 26th. Even if fotografia.it don't mention their source, it's obviously Nokishita Camera or a website / forum relaying Nokishita Camera.

Why the 25th? Because the guy managing Pentax Rumors (together with Leica Rumors, Nikon Rumors and Photo Rumors) is in Florida whilst Nokishita is in Japan. The time difference between Florida and Japan is 14 hours and the morning of the 26th in Japan is the evening of the 25th in Florida.

As for Nokishita, yes, they are trustworthy but they never wrote that the K-1 II would be announced in the framework of CP+.
