If the price is correct the price is quite a bit higher than the original K-1.

give it a couple months and it will be less than $100 difference than the K-1 is currently.

Its a bit More. They aren't going to give us a whole drawer full of all these wonderful and game changing upgrades and keep the price the same....

About the same I would say. The Japanese RRP (VAT excluded) of the Pentax K-1 at launch was ¥250,000. Here we have ¥253,800 for the K-1 Mark II but it's a slightly discounted price that, on the other hand, includes 8% VAT.

They are riding on their own Wave of the exciting first release of the K-1. ....It worked before so why shouldn't it work now....right ?.....

It's a simple mid-life update, with some interesting features. If the newly implemented features can be disabled it is a K1.
With the features enabled we can test wether the ideas will work fine (the typical beta-testing by the user).

The free hand PS is a great idea, the way how they do will do it is even great. When the Auxiliary processor work in the same way as in the KP this will be another good step forward.

Where is the reason to complain?

When people say that the KP bakes its RAW files, have they got any evidence to back up their statements? Would it be possible to PP a file from the K-3 to obtain the same level of noise reduction/detail as is found in the KP?
