Anyone has any details on the announced Image Sync 2.0 app?

In todays Pentax Newsletter announcing the K-1 II in Germany they announced it in one sentence as a new app to allow "easier handling via smartphone"

Yes, please some basic stuff, group JPG+RAW, delete photos (and photo groups), manage folders.
It requires a firmware update

but...

(Hint!) Good opportunity for the first KP update... it's premium... right!? (please, it's a small update)

I would say this is somewhat short of a v2.0 announcement...very short...

Are we starting a new rumor?* Hint: copying the full "announcement" or a link would be helpful, even if not in English. I would like to see the word "neu" for myself.

Edit: Might this be old marketing copy from the K-1 launch?

They regularly update the app. If there's a new version it should be clearly reflected in the app stores.

A big overhaul would likely need to be paired with a firmware update. So no overhaul yet IMO

It's been quite a while since I've checked, but man I wish they would put a lightmeter indication on the App next to the manual camera settings. A -1/3 or +1 or whatever would be great.

Just some tweaks to the user interface would be welcome. It feels really clunky.

Both do read like there is a new app coming, though one wonders if it might be limited to the K-1 II.

But right now, they've released v1.1.6 with support for K-1 II.
