SLR Roadshow - PENTAX Europe GmbH

SLR Roadshow in Germany from September,12 (!!!) till December, 13.

I am sorry to disappoint. Pentax Germany runs roadshows all year long and this list contains all events from the next one after today (whatever today is) to the last one which has already been scheduled.

No. The same SLR roadshow before Photokina was in 2006. K10D was announced on September, 13.
I used translator - Pentax.De say about promotion of new DSLR like it was in 2006.
The new schedule begins on September, 12, finished before Photokina and continue after.

I know those roadshows first hand and they are completely unrelated to photokina or announcements. BTW, it has been a constant disappointment that recent gear wasn't shown at roadshows. I have seen that customers attending a roadshow had more recent gear than the Pentax crew. Seen for the DA*300

Pentax runs roadshows all time since 2 years or so.

From a topic on Dpreview.com, where someone stated that Ritz said that Pentax would go out of business:

"Being a Ritz Camera employee, I can assure you that the salespeople have no "inside" information about Canon, Nikon, Pentax, etc. To the contrary, about 5 or 6 new items have showed up in our digital stockbook for Pentax in the last week, which would be absurd if they were going out of business.

He didn't tell more about those new items though
