The K-01's looks seem to have been inspired by the Transformers.

I've had mine for like a year now! Awesome lens. So fast I can see individual bosons as they interact with Higgs field. So sharp I can resolve the Crab Nebula.

But I heard that Pentax focus is too poor to get a shot, and the shake reduction has so much noise every pic is a throwaway!

Tony and Ken told me so.

Sure, hats off to 'em, they didn't invent the junction of superficial information and brand sales, they just took advantage of its coming.

Don't forget the Q's flash when raised. That resembles a Transformer more than any other Pentax product I know of. Now I'm connecting my Hot Shoe Adapter F, Hot Shoe Adapter Fg, F5, and F5p cables the the Q to see if it comes alive.

It will be nice to see some members share examples with the new 50 when it is available.

With Zeiss making up different monikers for different series of lenses I'm expecting the new Pentax line to be named Otis, after our famous squirrel. I mean come on DA, DFA, FA, what do those things even mean?

I was once told by a Canon shooting buddy that on his social media page he'll post amazing bird images and get 3 likes. But post a squirrel and he gets 100. Pentax really needs to tap into the power of the squirrel.

This lens should be the DFA 50 1.4 Otis.

Someone slap me in the head and get Rupert out of my brain.

Talking point 1: According to my wife that fuzzy tail covers for a multitude of sins. Tremendous charisma in that tail.

Talking point 2: There is a logic behind Rupert being in your brain.
1) Rupert has entered the ether.
2) The ether is everywhere as it is the portion of the universe where nothing is.
3) At that atomic level our brains are mostly empty space. Nothing there.
4) Therefore Rupert occupies the vast majority of the total volume of our brain. Sorry, but we are all stuck with him.

Talking point 3: Otis is not enough of a name for a lens destined to become a classic. It should be something like the Otis Optimar-Planar Symmetrical or OOPS for short.
