150000yen is what the da 300 also sells for so it should be comparable to what that would cost in your own market. In the us thats $1100.

Hahaha good one! I guess (pun intended) don't need to deny anything, as I don't have a K-1, and if I had it I'd probably go 15-30, 24-70, 70-200.

The DA* 300mm sells for about 105,000 yen at the moment, but the comparison is a bit difficult because the DA* 300mm has had multiple price drops over the years. To see how 150,000 yen compares to other Pentax lenses, look at this list. |

This shop is a good barometer of the real price, and what Nokishita is talking about when they refer to the discounted price. So basically, it’s a little cheaper than the D FA 24-70mm.

Yea, I was hoping for price like 18-55 KIT lenses, under 100 EUR. I'm sure they would sell much more with that price. Why don't they want to listen to me?

But honestly, not lens for me. I have 50mm lens and i've used it like 3 times for maybe 20 photos in last 3 years. Maybe i'll change my sigma 10-20 for new 11-18, and i'm hoping for some ultra long zoom, reaching over 450, maybe like old sigma 300-800 (but with modern image quality and AF)?
