Thomas Shahan has a pre-production copy of Laowa 100mm 2:1 and he posted a sample photo. So looks like it'll come eventually.

The Laowa Facebook page says they've scheduled a live Talk with Thomas Shahan for May 29th. He seems to be beta testing the K-mount version so it might be worthwhile seeing what he has to say.

After this thread first appeared I asked Laowa on FB whether it was true that they had decided to release a k-mount version of the 100mm 2:1 macro and... nothing but silence since. But maybe they will announce it officially when Thomas Shahan speaks...

without auto aperture, no reason to buy it over the 2:1 60mm they offer. with auto aperture, no reason not to buy it!
