Whoa, are those items "safe" from there? New, not returned & churned back out to folks? I'm having a "Crazy Eddie's" flashback... those prices are insane! Never been so tempted to get a K20D+DA70/2.4 ltd. @ the spur of the moment as i am now. ...but we digress...

Not bad. I hope it catches on. Shave $200 off the K20D's price tag and it becomes SERIOUSLY attractive.

If its too good to be true ...

Digital Liquidators has a rating of 0.63 out of 10 at resellerratings.com.

Quest 4 Cameras is even worse, at 0.21 out of 10.

Caveat emptor!!!

When I was looking for a Sony rear projection tv there were a few web companies with unbelievably low prices. I called a couple and they had a well honed script of bait and switch-- they said the super low price was gray market from Canada and if anything went wrong with the tv I'd have to ship it there for repairs. Sony said it would be covered. I told the guy I'd take it-- then I got a huge runaround ending with no communication. I think a k20d for $799 would be a similar scenario.

OTOH, I just noticed that Amazon recently lowered their price to $999. Probably a function of the recent rally in strength of the US dollar. (A camera deal that may not last very long after tomorrow's FreddyMac FannyMae bailout!)

You all should know this well

Any price you think too good to be true on camera gear is almost 99% of the time fake unless you catch a clearance deal from the major electronics retailers (best buy , circuit city... etc)

They are just bait and switch companies that are basically criminal in their practices. Please becareful

I would say it is more like 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time, B&H, Adorama, and Amazon, all ya need to know....I am sure there are a few other good shops out there, but these three are known to be legit, and have good customer service.
