DPReview: K-1 IIs Noise Reduction costs Details

Hi folks,
DPReview just published their review of the Pentax K-1 Mark II. (See here)
Based upon the previous sample shots (mostly concerning Details and High ISO behaviour) these are the most professional Images i came across so far.

Besides the loss in Detail i spottet something different in their images. A strange regular pattern which only the K-1 II has.
(I checked the K-70 for such patterns and couldnt find any.)

(This is a sample from ISO 104.200 at about 3:1 magnification.)

The same pattern is also visible in the sample shots, which i took earlier with the K-1 Mark II.

I am not sure what are wanting me to see is obvious. Could you please highlight the regular pattern and indicate whether your source was the full-resolution JPEG or RAW.

With 3:1 magnification, I have a hard time to see the details. Would you have a version with 10:1 magnification?
Edit: looks like the some pixels are filled in between via AI algorithm (from a very low light database).

If you take a closer look you can see a kind of fabric mosaic pattern. The space should be grey only. I mean the dot pattern besides the chroma noise.
All images i checked were RAW files.

Sorry, I don't see any patterns or regular shapes. It looks like a regular extreme zoom on some high ISO noise. Do you have the same image/crop from the K70 you mentioned to compare it to?

This pattern is far to regular to be random noise.
Perhaps it is more visible here:

To me it looks like the photograph of a bedroom carpet (without a macro lens).

It certainly is impressive what you can see when you magnify your 100K images to 3:1. I just tried it with my K-1 and I actually found a missing copy of the Declaration of Independence.

(Sorry to make light, but this is a level of pixel peeping that just doesn't concern me -- regardless of the brand involved).

Grey only? You are aware that portions of the target are screen lithography, right? (E.g. moire)

The pattern is spotable not only there...
See the same szene at ISO 100.

It leaves spots on the rug.

Yes, that does look pretty gray except for the parts that aren't.

I will download the DNG and give it a look-see as other than PNG.

Until then, I am willing to postulate the existence of nanobots.

I think he means the Chex Cereal pattern...almost as if de-mosaic was not applied in a spotty manner.

I'd make a billboard ad out of it.
