Why do you think so? I had been told by Ricoh Russia's dealer that GRII on sale with discount, because the camera is not in production and they are selling the rests. GRII is available somewhere, but not world wide.

Yeah Pentax did a big push to get rid of GRII's recently here as well in Australia, I thought to clear stock for the new GR in the months to come.

Presumably, 2 lines in operations: 1 line for 645z, K1 II and KP, anther assembly line for Theta. Camera makers are very cautious about keeping inventory to minimum. People say D850 is out of stock due to lack of availability of sensors, well, I don't think it's true, I think Nikon are manufacturing on demand based on backlog of purchase orders in order to reduce cash utilization to a minimum. Ricoh doing the same I suppose.
