I like mine. It mentions the nikon version only works for a few of its cameras but the same goes for the plm.

They tested it on a K-70. I'm replacing my DA-L 55-300 with this one. Faster silent AF, WR, and RE. Can't resist anymore.ü

And well-deserved! I had the original DA 55-300, and I gave it to a friend after acquiring this one. It's pretty much always attached to either the KP or the K-70.

Hard to beat this lens! Quick focusing, sharp, silent operation and compact! The ergonomics is perfect with the quick shift focus ring located at the base of the lens within easy reach if needed but I've never found that I have needed it so far! I just wish it had a bit faster aperture but then it might be higher priced.

Ricoh should definitely make a full format version of this lens.

I would've bought by now if it would work on the k-5II.

It appears to be a great design would be nice to see the concept widened to include other focal lengths as well as implement it in full format.

They seem to have their hands full designing all the pricey DFA* lenses people decided they needed to make full use of the K-1.

There are some weird choices made in this collection of lenses. For example on m43 the most equivalent field of view to the Pentax in Panasonic would be the 45-200 or perhaps the 45-175 (not as narrow a field of view but compact and light). The Olympus selected is far too long, their 40-150 is closer to the mark. But overall it is nice to see anything that gives well deserved praise to Pentax.

I would've purchased by now if it would work on my K-30.
Right now, I guess it will have to wait a year until after I purchase a KP.

This is the type of lens that caused me to jump from Pentax to Canon in 1995 {bodies encouraged me to jump back to Pentax in 2015}

They are developing something like it.

Amazon stopped being cheap years ago. Castle cameras £299, at the moment.
