I am pretty sure anything taken with the 50 mm is from the D FA*50 f1.4.

I'm guessing the price is going to be more than I want to pay, but some people will buy them.

I'd rather win something else. Never been a fan of the new vague of 50s... their rendering is too surgical, sterile and impersonal.
Every single portrait I've seen of such lenses has made nothing to make them enticing to me.
Maybe if I tried one I would change my mind... but I've got other priorities at the moment.

Most posters here don't seem to be big-picture persons. They are prepared for the thread to come - they just assume it will come - but are doing nothing to make that happen, as can be seen by the fact I've been on the top ten list almost every day in June. I'm not sure I want a K-1 - a KP may fit my style better - but my rate of posting is at least ten time what it was before @Adam announced the give-away. Others here talk enthusiastically about winning a K-1, but it doesn't seem to have affected their habits.
