Wow! I'll definitively get it next year.
Once you'll taste that sweet rendering and bokeh, the size and weight will not be a concern.

I don't need this lens!. I shouldn't buy this lens!

But it looks very good and then I decided to put my old (rarely used manual focus) A50 1.4 on my new K1ii and immediately fell for the bokeh and rendering. My brain said "the new DFA will be even better, Trump/China trade war is driving $AUD south, local importer giving a good price, time to act etc etc" so I immediately put in the order!

I think I might have just qualified for LBA!

A great outcome is that the Pentax managers can go to their skeptical Ricoh bosses and say, "See, we sold out the pre-order batches, these Star premium lenses are viable, sign off on completing the 85mm, etc"

Ricoh bosses maybe only look at the numbers.....wich we will see new ones next week at the 27th.

But these out-of-control sales won't appear in next week's statement, Ron, which would have been written up sometime ago, prior to the lens' release.
