Welp. Here we go again.
I received the customary B&H Extended Backorder verification email. I called again to ask again. My order has changed from “Shipping July 20th” to, “We don’t know. We’ll ask the Pentax Rep.”
I told the CS guy the website is accepting orders with a Ship Date of July 24th, so I should be before that - but no, they (say they) don’t know anything.
This is the last time for
somebody.
EDIT: B&H confirms by email Pentax Rep can give no guidance RE: availability of stock for MY order placed June 30th.
I really don’t care when I get the lens. I just want them to be able to tell me something more specific than, “It’s Backordered. We don’t know. We’ll tell you when it has been shipped.”
