As I can say they never did use them after acquisition of Pentax. Maybe those ware old stocks. Black boxes ware used by Hoya, before that era there was that gray/red Pentax logo boxes used. Both looked, well, plain ugly, compared to that silver ones we have now. Also paint from those black ones was kinda chipping off with age, I had two, and both got cracks and chips of the paint on corners when stored and not handled at all for some years.

Jeeeeeeeez Ron. It's a crop of a bigger palette. You don't need to be a mathematician to extrapolate the numbers involved here, and it ain't 35.
