I recently dropped my FA 50 1.7 and it's focusing ring moves but is too stiff to work with the screw drive motor. But I also think, there are a lot of places where I carried the 50 1.7 that I wouldn't even take that lens. It looks like great studio, fixed location lens, but, I don't have great studio, nor do I often shoot in a fixed location. But, I'm happy to see it available for those who need it. I wonder what the coming WA prime is going to be. I sure hope its a 20 or 24mm. 35mm just doesn't agree with me.

And I also hope it's ƒ4.
My cardiologist just advised me to add a bit of weight to my daily walking regimen.

I'm not sure how many of these they expect to sell. As long as they sell enough to pay for R&D, that may satisfy them. Right now they seem to be doing what they need to do - have enough {and the right} lenses in the catalog to satisfy the most demanding customers .... and potential customers.

They’re going to sell more than they expected. Just like K-1.

It could also re-kickstart K-1 K-1 mkII sales. Whenever you add a previously unavailable lens to your collection you increase your sales possbilites.. As long as you don't do it every day like Cnon and Nikon.

There's been so many people whining about this lens not being available I expect it to be sold out for months.

Well that gives me a hard worst case ship date (but I think it is shipping tomorrow).

It might have been the in store availability, and only people with pre-orders were getting theirs tomorrow?

Yep, It's a NASA simulation

And we can't really trust ANY of these "Australian" members who say they've got it on order, will be in their hand by their birthday, and so forth

If NASA's budget gets cut, I'm out of a job, and there's not much call for minor actors with a dodgy Cockney-like accent.

Back to me serving tables at the Starbucks in my hometown of Scranton, PA, I guess!
