I heard through sources former RIAC management botched the K-1 rollout here. They’re doing a much better job servicing dealers under the new regime. No promises - but Ricoh emailed expected delivery dates and quantities to dealers.

They definitely are but if you're in the field and you don't have them, then stopping down is also an answer

Sure, but it's only one stop to f22 from f16, so its help is very limited. An ND1000 is ten stops.

Yeah. Sure. Should be on eBay NIB for $796 before end of summer. Just hang in there pal.

* B&H said there ‘aren’t many preorders’. The CS Rep hesitated a bit, then went to script and gave a noncommittal answer about whether Mine would ship. I suppose that’s good (for me) and not good (for Pentax). I’ve either made a terrible, LBA investment or I’m prescient and in early.

Hey Norm, can you clarify by how the images from the D-FA 28-105 were "ahead" of those from the 100 Macro? Any reason for the disparity in focal lengths? You mentioned the 28-105 was screwed to 68 and not 100 so it doesn't seem as easy to make a comparison... I assume you were using your K-1 for this?

Ya, it was just a quick dirty test hand held under the same circumstances , for all it really indicates is I need more controlled testing, Good enough to say "you should look at this" but not good enough to make any real conclusions.
