Can't take credit for this - it was my good wife with her KP..
The image EXIF doesn't recognise the lens - has your KP got the latest firmware installed?

"Changes to V1.10 Optimized performance when attaching new lens HD PENTAX-D FA*50mmF1.4 SDM AW. Improved stability for general performance."

My version of Lightroom (6.14) is no longer supported (upgraded), so it is Lightroom that doesn't recognise the lens... KP has 1.10 FW, my K1 has 1.50; neither show lens ID in Lightroom... ...not ready to shell out monthly to Adobe for LR and PS, when I'll never use PS.

I wonder when lightroom will get the new profile.

Lightroom has, since June. Just not my version, as Adobe stop providing updates to 'encourage' [force] you to upgrade...

And I have two words for Adobe and that tactic that will not be written here. I just got lightroom 6.5 but almost wish it had been 6.0 It seems they dstill have hooks into me if I want full functionality. But my DxO is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and still has no lens profile for my DA 55-300 PLM. 6 of one, a half dozen of the other. No software is perfect.

Solution:
Move to the dark side, my friend... More specifically, move to the darktable side Whilst it takes some work (and digging around to find the right information), you can build profiles for any lens you own using Hugin's Calibrate Lens tool...

In this angle looks really weird, but the sharpness is really pleasing.

I see srs in the UK are back in stock - I'd be interested to know if that meant that a second production run had taken place or it was just circulation of stock between outlets

It means that you should hurry up to buy one before they have to wait for the third delivery

I just tried my new DAF 50 1.4 on my K-3. Holy cow. Blazing speed. Probably the fastest focusing lens I have. So far I am impressed.

Mine arrived today, but I didn't pick it up until 4:00pm on the way to an evening of work.

I've put a couple of quick snaps in the Lens Club thread. Suffice to say I'm very impressed so far.

It's like, how much more flat could this focal plane be? And the answer is none. None more flat.
