Good idea, and many thanks for trying to help. I've just tried your suggestion, and what happened is the phone effectively connects to the K1 via Wifi, when I start Image sync it automatically disconnects the already established and stable Wifi connection from the phone to the K1, and then prompt user for an SSID password again and then is enable to connect again to the camera. If I don't use the Wifi pre-connection, eventually, it'll works 1 time out of 10 trials, go into LV and then disconnect again and so it is very very annoying to use. I've uninstalled that app. For me, Pentax Wifi = useless. Image Sync is free but the value = 0. Wifi is just one more of those marketing must have things that never make it into daily use of cameras.
