Below is one of the images I captured with my new Lensbaby Sol 45 on my K-S2. The diecast truck was made in England.

I am using the lens — with and without a Raynox M-150 — in the Single in February activity here at Pentaxforums.

By the way, at the Lensbaby website the company is offering the Sol 45 through February at a $30 discount. (The same offer is being made for the Sol 22.) I do not know whether any other vendors also are discounting the price. I bought my lens from another vendor before Lensbaby announced the price cut.

This photo shows extreme field curvature of this lens. Notice that in the center focus is at buildings far away, while close to edges it is on a fine net which is just about 1 meter away

Compared to some other (lensbabies) it's actually one of the easiest to Manual Focus with, using Live View helps. I think because the effect is so pronounced it actually assists with telling you when you have achieved focus as only a small segment of what you see on the screen or OVF is actually sharp and in focus, the rest blurred. In fact I would say this is one of the easiest manual focusing lenses I have used to date period. I imagine it's a little like having a Canon S Type focusing screen, easier to see what and what is not in focus on the display.

You are right, it is not very hard Just harder than autofocus, but otherwise it is fine.
And what like so much is that this lens is very sharp where it should be. See a 100% crop from one of portraits:

I reversed my FA43 onto the front of my microfourthirds and just held it in my hand - I could achieve the same effect seen in these pics here
