I think Ooku said the GRIII had been delayed.

My guess is a new camera based on the KP with one of these high Mp sensors that the star series lenses are designed for. Maybe a Sony 31Mp sensor (4K video?). Pentax PZ?
It was probably timed for the initial launch of the 11-18 mm lens that has been delayed. Just a guess though.

But would that mean the new camera has a cup holder?

K-cup compatible?

Pentax Australia just had a big weekend only sale of the Pentax Kp at $AU899 ($AU450 less than recommended price) on the weekend. It looks very fishy and naturally they sold out by Saturday. So...it looks almost certain that they are clearing them out for a new APC camera to replace both the K3 II (already gone) and the Kp.

Looks like he was right...wasn't it supposed to be out in April?

Well, we know from Adorama's "glitch" that it's at least a 50MP mirrorless with 1080HD video.

I think he had little choice after claiming release was imminent some months ago with the camera being a no-show.

(...IIRC, the rumor was based on a battery charger registration by Ricoh...)

Thanks for the reminder. I am not a Keurig owner, but know that full K-cup support as a discriminating feature is essential for the survival of both Ricoh and Pentax.

GRIII time? It's already a year late, after all.

Rumor is that Adorama slipped a digit and that it is 500MPx.
