it is probably going to be that 645 is going mirror less, there'll be a new aps-c camera with a spruced up line of star lenses, and tell us they are working on a new K-1 and let us know of the new 35mm FF lenses coming out and throw in a gr as well

If you got a K-1 with a 24mp sensor and a $1500 price tag, and none of the other stuff you mentioned, would you be happy? That would certainly be in the realm of possibility, even if unlikely.

I'm hoping major update to the lens roadmap. Perhaps some announcement related to updated versions of some legacy lenses (FA limiteds? first generation DA*s?) or some DFA f/4...

GR III or new Theta seems more likely though.

Camera engineering has been available since the KP, new camera model to be expected sooner or later.
Lens department have released the DFA*50, hence new lens (70-210 f4 ? / DFA*85) to be expected sooner or later.
New Theta version? That's a different team: new Theta version to be expected sooner or later.

I notice on the other forum Asahi-man says: "Next 24 mega camera is not dslr".

So I guess if we see anything at all at Photokina, we should either expect only a GR update, a K-02?, a 24MP Theta, or Ricoh's first drone

(hopefully). Or something else entirely new.

Even an actual announcement of the DFA* 85 wouldn't be a sad event.

Not a lot of "newness" and certainly bad for wallets, but still likeable.
