Any indication when this is coming out??

Also, I have non-godox flashes. Is there a way to use this transmitter with them? A pocketwizard connection of some kind, maybe. I was planning on getting the AD200, but I also want the option to use my other flashes too.
I haven't seen an official date yet but It's available for pre-order at B&H and adorama.

You can also pre-order it on Amazon... and if you look on the right, it says there is a possibility of getting it between Oct 23 to Nov 27th. I ask, just because it doesn't really make sense to purchase compatible flashes (ex: AD200) if I can't get the transmitter before then.

This is going to be an issue for cactus with the release of their RQ250 model.
unfortunatly Cactus did not made kikstarter funding and RQ250 has been suspended. I hope they will resume develop of this one or start somethin even more challenging. I personally own 6 V6II triggers and two RF60X flashes with ongoing project of purchasing some more flashes. Only exellent remarks I can put about this system.

Here is link to the cactus news

Their pricepoint was too high for the wattage they offered. All the compactness and add-ons mean nothing if your competitors can offer a similar product for cheaper. It's a shame because I genuinely liked their product, but $525 (at the 25%-off introductory price, mind you) for a 250w strobe was too much no matter which you sliced it. And they probably knew it as soon as their numbers came back from accounting.

I think Cactus needs to focus on AD400 and not try to go up against AD200 whether it is the price point or features.

It would have sold like hotcakes if it was a 400w strobe. People buy their strobes how Americans buy their sports cars: hp per dollar.

On kickstarter their biggest mistake was not enough SEB deals on the single unit.

I'd say it is little bit of everything.

I personally own some of cactus equipment and I only can say that I was eager to get my hands to it and also very exited when I made it. Several speedlights, and several remotes and finaly made HS flash possible on my K5 and K3. Given that, I'd really would like to see them had more success in studio strobes and, even more, I hope they will have some of these in near future.

but...

They overpriced 250 w/s strobe, but I would be willing to go for it to support their efforts since they were pioneers in idea. As company would experience growth, they might produce far better and more powerful strobes, euipmpent and all other accessories. But, now godox has entered this market with their products and this time is really big time as they are making a really cheap studio strobes and those far expensive with full authonomy, (LIPO or LION powered) and remote controlled by their pentax dedicated radio remote. As I can understadn from various websites, there is more now of sharks entering this tiny pool. An adviceabel would be to Cactus to invest more in better marketing and existing products until they grow up enough to fit this market.

Does anybody know when the trigger will be available? On Amazon some sellers claim "20 in stock", om Ebay up to 30 day to delivery and still on Pre-order on Adorama and BHPhoto

Nobody has them yet. The Amazon sellers offer delivery from the end of October into November. So they do not have stock either. Probably in the US stores in late October.

And the ones on Amazon being sold directly from Godox seem to have their stock number decreasing, so maybe they have them. I dont think they can sell them non pre-order unless Amazon has them on hand.
