I've just found that Kenneth moved to Panasonic Lumix S1R.
He must have a early prototype, the interview i saw(at PhotoK) was pretty vague about most things.

He has been using GH series for video for a long time.

If there was a model that suit his requirements, then who knows, especialy in terms of Video and hi speed shooting. Still I think that will never happen xD
There is also the small issue of Tamron not bringing out any new lenses for Pentax for quite a while now.

I dont use Panasonic S1 or S1R..Yet.

Im currently having a Tamron deal with same company that has Pentax in the Nordic and Baltic countries (Focus Nordic). They said they still wanted me onboard because they say im a big asset and I really like working with them. My main bodies are 5D Mark IV + GH5 (for video only). Focus Nordic and Panasonic also works close together in this area, so stuff can happen in 2019

I feel sorry for having to leave, but I had to do whats best for me and my development. Ricoh wants a different path then what suits my needs, and when they also stop responding to me + K-1ii even worse for me then K-1 (buffer only). I had no choice But will always have a soft spot for Pentax and its great community of people.

And I still have my Spotmatic F with Takumar 35 and 135..So im covered to be here I hope..hehe

You don't have to explain. The slow buffer speed of K-1 family is well-known here ..... in fact, almost every discussion wanders into that area sooner or later. I have to admit that personally I was shocked to here that you were trying to make that work for you.

You don't owe anyone here any explanation.
I know I don't have to anything, but to answer here and have to answer all the PM's everywhere. I think there is a bit difference between a regular user and a brand ambassador leaving..But hey, thats how I think. Dont expect anyone to agree or understand

All the best with the new endeavours Ken. I have enjoyed our occasional conversations over the past few years

So will you switch back to Pentax if you like the next FF if it has better buffer, fps autofocus etc. Or is there something else to it?

Let us know how it goes, Panasonic was always my choice for out of class assignments. It will be interesting to know what they come up with.
