Those are quite cool. I was just looking at the Litra a couple of days ago.
Couldn't find that one locally. The Litra comes with some very useful accessories, though, and while not as bright as the Lume it has a more even spread, I believe. The bluetooth control of the Lume is nice (since the on-board controls are rather primitive), and I imagine it would become more or less essential if you place out multiple cubes.

Oh, and the optical slave function of the Lume is rather underwhelming. I can't get it to trigger unless I fire a flash almost straight on. Since the sensor is on the front of the cube that limits the use quite a bit. Not that it will matter much with a flash-less GRIII

Some discussions here PHOTOKINA 2018 - GRIII, Fujifilm, Leica, Zenit & more! - YouTube
Mr. Baus said there should be image examples in about 2 months from testing photographers and that end of February feels like a good time to launch it. Of course, as stated before, he's just saying his opinion.

I'd be very happy with a Feb launch)) cant wait for it to come out, I'm pretty sure iq will be very good considering that most of 24mp sensors perform pretty similarly) it'll be down to how good the camera is in other aspects (I'm hoping fewer optical elements in the lens won't change the stellar optical performance of the lens on GR II

Usually the small items on the show booth are used to let visitors experiment with the auto-focus and macro capabilities of the presented camera.
You can see some other cameras on the wooden border of the booth.

Oooooh. I have been looking for a little high quality camera for street for a few months as there are plenty of situations where the K-1 is too obtrusive. I need look no further!

At the Salon de la Photo in Paris, which opened today, the Ricoh GR III is shown under glass. No specs are provided.

According to Ricoh Imaging reps it should be launched in March 2019 at around €900 (a price that includes 20% VAT and is therefore equivalent to around $850).

They also pointed out that the camera is currently undergoing final testing with a specific emphasis on dust resistance.

Not too bad. Saving up to get one when it comes out, can't wait for more details!

Yeah, I might have to take up swearing and put a jar on the kitchen table to afford this, the DFA* 50, the hopefully soon to be released 11-18 and whatever else the 100 year celebration brings our way.

If I were a betting man, I'd guess on a release on or about Feb 28th. This would tie in with the CP+ Photo and Imaging Show in Japan.....

Every time it rains around here I wish my GR II or GXR are weather sealed. I am not sure why they didn't start there. Most needed upgrade in my view was weather sealing. Kinda on the fence because of that. Love all the upgrades though.
