To me it feels like aps-c is out of focus for Pentax. Sure there is this lens on the timeline but all I hear about for the future is new Full frame DSLRs.

I was hoping for a new APS-c K-3ii replacement like the rest of Pentax Nation, but I'll have to wait a bit longer I guess....

Well if a big announcement was coming before x-mass then we would have seen it on Photokina.

Asahi man on dpreview. Also someone on the Facebook page Pentax cameras group spoke with a rep who said they were currently NOT developing an aps-c flagship.

This facebook comment is something I am not aware of.
No flagship apsc would be a disaster for the brand, they really should have a look to the breakdown of K1+K1II vs the rest of historical units sold over the last 2 cycles K5 + K3...

I would rather believe Ricoh Imaging, than someone who posted something on Facebook.

Because some "in the know" person on Facebook said so. What could be more reliable?

Look at his sig. The word ‘here’ replaced ‘coming’ when K-1 shipped. The word ‘coming’ was quietly in his sig for at least a year before we had concrete news of a FF.

IIRC, he had accurate insight about K-5 ll / lls and K-3 also.

FWIW.

He Who?? What about the K-3II, KP as well as the K-1II? FWIW, I stay off of Facebook completely so if you're referring to anyone there I'm not getting on Facebook just to take a peek at his Signature.
