While that is a nice bundle, I wouldn't plan on using the bag with the K1-II wearing the battery grip. My K-3 barely fits in that configuration (only because I forced it...) so I've given that bag over to my son for his continued use with the old K-30.

But that's a good bundle, otherwise, and seems like a good price.

We've been discussing this offer in the original 12 Days of Christmas thread. BIG problem - says bundle, picture includes lens, no mention of lens. No idea at all what is actually included in the bundle. BIG fail by Pentax USA.

The bag is also not to scale. Does that mean there is confusion whether the bag is actually the size shown relative to the camera?

I would never take the photo as gospel, certainly not over what is actually written in text. I have bigger issue with the fact that
no specs, or link to specs, are given for camera, grip, bag, etc. Such information is de rigueur for tech equipment and to leave it
up to the buyer to track this down is beyond lazy.

Geez NO the photos aren't to scale, but they ought to at least be photos of what YOU ACTUALLY GET - particularly for a camera company.

Have a Great Day!

The two of you agree that whether a lens is included is unknown.

The lens is not included. I asked on their Facebook post, and Ricoh replied it was body only.

The text does not specify a lens. I would not expect a lens and if one arrived I'd chalk it as a bonus. On the other hand, if
the bag showed up and it was the size shown in the photograph I'd be surprised and disappointed but nonetheless accept
it as 'represented'. Heck, considering nothing of the lens is shown except the front, the bundle could include a paper dummy
lens with a photograph of a front element on it and be as represented in the photo.

I'm still more bothered by the lack of specs. The 'bundle' could arrive sans strap, battery, warranty card, etc. None of that
is stated as being included in this bundle.

In short, not in the text, not guaranteed in the bundle. Received in addition to what's in the text, bonus.

All of the offers have been very short of details. It is ridiculous that someone had to ask on Facebook to get this answer. I am always amazed by the myopic nature of companies.

Yes - that DSLR Slingbag 2 is what I (or, now, my son) has. It's unique in look, and I am confident Pentax doesn't make a second, larger version of it. Don't get me wrong, either. It's a terrific bag, and I wish my K-3 with the battery grip fit into it better, as it is otherwise a perfect "out and about" bag for a camera and light tripod, along with three extra lenses and a host of gadgetry, batteries, chargers, and extra memory cards. It just barely fits the K-3 with the battery grip installed, with some careful forcing of the zipper, and based on that, I'm confident the K1 will be too large with the grip. It will be a pain to R&R the grip every time the camera goes in or out of the bag.

Jeez, I was thinking about buying this deal. But now I’m depressed and confused. Thanks for pointing out my error and keeping me from making a bad decision guys.

Damn. Talked out of being happy once again.
