thinking of renting equipment and live in the US ?
Posted By: aslyfox, 12-14-2018, 08:43 AM

I received yesterday this email from Lensrentals.com

Happy holidays, here's a free week!

• Have you heard? 12/26 - 1/1 are free!
• Have your order delivered by 12/24 and return it after 1/1.
• Use code: BYE2018
• Boom, done!

here is a direct link to their Pentax inventory:

LensRentals.com - Rent Photo > Pentax

as far as I know, the offer is available to all

you must rent for a minimum of 9 days but 7 are free, you pay shipping

I recommend getting the maximum protection plan if you rent

Too bad this isn't available in Canada!

My local camera store (McBain) offers rentals, but Pentax isn't on their rental list.
When I asked about why it isn't present, they said "no one requests Pentax rentals".
I responded with "well maybe if it was on your rental list people would request it!"
They didn't have a response for that..

If you received an email about discounts this should have gone in Price watch. I can move it there now, if you like because it doesn't belong in News and Rumors either, nor now it doesn't belong here either. LOL

Fantastic! It's definitely possible I'll be taking advantage this, as it doesn't look like my K-1 shutter replacement is going to make it back home from Precision before Christmas.

I have no connection with Lensrentals except as a satisfied customer.

they are very good at communications and I have had very nice phone calls with them

I tried to use this coupon to rent the 300/4 for 9 days but it effectively amounted to just under $50 off, not a bad deal but nowhere near "7 days free"

in another thread, this company was mentioned as an option for renting equipment:

cameralensrentals.com also has a week free and you don’t have to rent 9 days to get seven. The deal is on their home page.

ETA 25% off is on their home page. Click on current deals to get the week free.

They have great customer service.
