Given Pentax's market share and glacial product pipeline, there is zero chance of a new MILC mount.
However the K-mount already supports both full-frame and APS-C and there are millions of lenses out there already.
A K-mount MILC makes a lot of sense at some point down the road. Yes the flange distance is longer than the new mounts from the competition, but who really cares.
MILC cameras are getting bigger and bigger every generation to the point where they are as big as DSLRs now anyway.
A lightweight MILC WR full-framed IBIS K-mount camera at a $1500 price point could get a lot of attention.
While they are at it open-source the K-mount to anyone who wants to make lenses for it.
And get a new generation of marketing people in. Print media marketing and invisible ambassadors are so last century.
Ricoh/Pentax actually has a lot going for it. They are already in the full-frame space unlike Fuji, Olympus, Panasonic (in, but huge mountain to climb for them)
