That was true when parts of the state ignored Daylight Savings Time while other parts followed it. I thought they worked that out?

I prefer a wristwatch to digging my phone out of my pocket whenever someone asks me "what time is it?"

Indiana used to ignore daylight savings time. Now the majority of the state is on Eastern Daylight Savings Time, but there are a few counties up by Chicago and a couple near Evansville that are on Central Time.

Nice to see what 11mm at 2.8 looks like, looks pretty nice to me.

Well, everyone knows that cell phones are the modern day pocket watches.

There’s a market opportunity: a waistcoat with a deep pocket, and a chain to tie your phone securely. Security and style in the one package. Add a monocle and brass phone case, and you have the complete steam-punk outfit.

Looks like a smidgen of barrel distortion.
Was that without lens correction?
(Does the K-1ii have it yet?)

I didn't see new firmware update so I guess it is not corrected.

Thanks for the samples nu_llpo!

On this one, the edges looks very blured, I hope this is just because the focus is at infiny instead of hyperfocal.

nu_llpo, do you have the 12-24 lens? (or 15-30 maybe). I am looking for the feedback of a 12-24 user to see if the new lens is really better?

I have just been to a Pentax showroom in Tokyo, and had my hands on the 11-18mm today. It is big. Not big like the new 50mm is big, but still ... It was mounted on the KP (what else?) and it really needs a more substantial body to sit on, if you ask me. I bought a used K3II so one of the next days Pentax will announce a successor to that, just wait and see!

They also had the new 35mm and apart from that they have the old one in shops new and second hand, so I guess it must be a popular thing in Japan.

Only if the waistcoat includes a battery and wireless charger... and the monocle needs to function with an augmented reality app (or at least Pokémon go)...

I think for a set of relatively uncontrolled tests, the 11-18 shows a lot of promise... I like it...

I have only just seen the 11-18mm and handled it in the showroom. It is a different class than the 12-24mm (which I do have), I can say that much. Twice the size and built like a tank. If it is not optically better, the engineers ought to retire themselves.

I have the 12-24mm with me, now you guys just need to persuade Ricoh to lend me the lens and I just might be open for testing it with a days shooting around Tokyo :-)

I drove through the mid west once. No offense to Indiana but when I got there the first big sign on the freeway said St Louis 500 miles. It was pretty much 500 miles of corn by the time we got there. :^)
