Weird... no flip-up flash and different shape to the prism housing with grey lettering down the side... Gold lettering on the body... Unusual glossy grip...

I wonder if this is a proposed MkII or Anniversary model??

I'm not sure whether it is serious or not. Looks like they included gps. The red grips are hideous

That pentaprism is totally badass.
If they added IR remote capability I'd sign up.

it is just a custom made project of a user, no anniversary model. Nice are the wooden grips.

With a different prism housing, no pop-up flash and gold lettering? That's pretty impressive work. How did you find out that it was a user project rather than a Ricoh-produced version?

There's a hint I think ; the red grip, the guy at Pentax that has done the design of the K30 had done himself a uniq version of his KP if I remember well, nothing more probably

I am not so sure its a user project, the change of penta prism is impressive for a user project, also looking carefully the paint finish is now a 3d finish with highlights in the paint, to match the new 35/f2 this also has the same paint finish.

This was a KP prototype exterior design made by K-30 designer. It was posted few times here and on Ricoh Japan FB page with such description.

(cutting edge design, don't mess up with Pentax). I like the aerodynamics of the viewfinder front, the shape reduces friction when the photographer has to shoot against the wind
