I would like to know if they could say anything about how they are using technologies usually found on mirrorless cameras to improve the performance of Pentax dSLRs.

I’m thinking about the stuff that happens while the mirror is up, which could be autofocus related, or a hybrid viewfinder, or a range of other things...

In order that the Pentax chamber became uncompromising, out of criticism, remained already few. In the K-1ii chamber it is necessary to finish the following: a set of cross-shaped points of an auto focus on all field of the sensor are necessary; the joystick for speed and convenience of a choice of a point of focus is necessary; the auto focus has to be not worse, than at Nikon D 850 or Nikon D5!!!; good video as at Sony; to make correct red color (especially), blue, violet; the autobalance white as can be made more precisely. Perhaps, all. The opinion my personal, can not coincide with opinion of others. I am very glad to updating of lenses! The full line of lenses, such as new 50 mm of f/1.4 is necessary!!! It is impossible to stop and lag behind competitors in any way!!! Very much I hope, I wait

These are suggestions or requests rather than questions, yes?

I would use word "inexpensive" or "less expensive" instead of "cheap".
Yeah, something like that... same bananas

I just threw some ideas when I gave my list...

I hope the GRIII won't steal the convo topic as I am more interested in ILC..

I'm sure whoever does the interview could allocate a limited but respectful amount of time to discussing the GR and Theta lines, then tactfully move the subject onto ILCs.

@Adam - might you consider structuring the interview on that basis?

Except that some of the technology in the GRIII may be in the next Pentax body.

From what I learned, the units are already in the hands of the field testers. If we are lucky, we can have their first impressions. Or are we talking about removing the mirror.

As for me and for some others specially for those who don't do videos (and Pentax isn't serious about it anyway) many kinda like the idea of a small "inexpensive" digital FF camera.

Oh, no we aren’t (are we, boys and girls? )

We could be enticed to talk about the hybrid viewfinder, though.

Will there be a camera with both built in GPS and a built in flash?

1. When can we expect an APS-C flagship succesor in the K-7/K-5/K-3 line?
2. Can we expect a WR tilt / touch screen combo in FF and APS-C any time soon?

My point was, if you don't expect answers - either because of contentious subject matter or the manner of phrasing - then what's to be gained by asking? It's a genuine question, not a rhetorical one. I've no issue with us posing uncomfortable questions to Ricoh - indeed, these CP+ sessions are a rare opportunity to do so - but it seems wise to use that opportunity to gain useful information and build constructive rapport, rather than put Ricoh on the defensive. But that's just my opinion
If you have one opportunity to ask, then ask. Otherwise just stew in you juice and ask the same questions that you did last year.

Rinse, repeat is not producing results.

Why do People buy Pentax?
What makes Pentax today different from other brands?

I could also ask, what is your strategy, and why should I buy Pentax, but that would be too offensive.
