Question #4 about user guides: we have seen two or three nice papers/articles about how to use some features of Pentax cameras. I found it very interesting/useful, but it stopped. Do you plan to resume that activity and how often it be published? Weekly? Monthly? Quarterly? [1 new in depth article quarterly or monthly would be nice].

Question #5 [Warning: bad humor ] about Ricoh GRIII: the Ricoh GRIII happens to be an excellent concept for a camera. Do you also plan a Pentax re-badge in order to sell it under the Pentax brand? [e.g.: Pentax GRIII] Will it be also declined in blue, yellow, green and pink?

Why you don't upgrade your APS-C DA* lenses "now" to have the best APS-C system on the market "right now", while Canon and Nikon are not active anymore on that market?

I think that there's also an implied question lurking in there - is there any chance of new investment in Pentax, or is it strictly pay your own way?

If you have one opportunity to ask, then ask. Otherwise just stew in you juice and ask the same questions that you did last year.

Rinse, repeat is not producing results.
This will be an interview, not a pointing fingers session.
Thus, Adam will try to make Ricoh Imaging communicative, instead of putting them on the defensive and effectively shutting their mouths.

You should read Dave Etchells interviews, over at Imaging Resource. He creates a very relaxed atmosphere, and so he's able to get information.

- Info about the Hybrid Viewfinder
- Info about the 645 future (there will be a FF?)
- Info about the f/4.0 lens lineup for the k-1 (new 20-35, new 24-90)
- Can Andrea become a Pentax Ambassador to play with prototypes?

With Sigma and Tamron no longer providing new lenses in k mount and the lack of a flagship APS-C sensor camera and what seems like a very slow pipeline of new products (Don’t consider K1 II new). Why should someone consider purchasing Pentax.

With the presentation of the very impressive DA* 11-18 you gave a strong signal to APS-C users looking for the best image quality in this sensor format. You describe the new-generation Star-series lenses as a lens series to feature "high resolving power and sharp contrast, and deliver exceptional imaging performance across the image field ... to accommodate the further advancement of digital cameras...". Do you have any intentions to update some of the previous generation APS-C *-lenses over time to offer these users the strongest available lineup on the market with your APS-C Star-series?
---
The DA * 11-18 has great features that cover needs of landscape and night sky photographers (like focus clamp and lens heater groove). Are there any plans to bring an APS-C model with built in hardware for Astrotracer use, which would be also useful for this user group?

A good way to obtain more information would be to go for a sake tasting, and terminate the sake tasting with the PF interview , with the risk that the next day Adam will forgotten everything they said at the interview

-Is there a plan to update the old DA* lenses? Or to replace with something entirely new?

-Did you consider giving to the possible APS-C flagship (a K3-III or whatever it is), more processing power? Enough to handle faster AF-C, faster image processing and better pixel shift?

-Did you consider using touch screen on you cameras? And how would you implement user's interface to take advantages of this type of user interaction?

- I want joystick to select af points. With possibly more af points in a still rumored APS-C flagship, did you consider implementing it?

I believe that a DA* 16-50 mkII and a DA* 50-135 mkII, with new AF drive (maybe the new ring type driving the D-FA* 50) and updated contruction will be hot sellers. I would buy the 16-50 in a heartbeat!

More processing power could lead pentax to a better position. APS-C market is fiercer than ever, and Ricoh must keep competitive to still be an option.

Touch screen would be a bonus.

pentax extension tubes haven't changed since the 70's, and are only usable on lenses with aperture rings... which does not take advantage of the newest and best pentax lens designs... why no update on such an easy part to manufacture?

Assuming the K-1 II will be replaced as the FF flagship camera soon, are you able to indicated in what areas you are planning to improve on it?
