New Ricoh camera on the horizon: R02020

After R01010 (Pentax K-1 II) registered in March 2018 and R02010 (Ricoh GR III) registered in October 2018, a new camera with the code name 'R02020' was registered by the ~~Chinese~~ Taiwanese radiocommunications authorities.

Its features include Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth. It supports DC 5V power charging via USB.

At least the day and hour (a Thursday at 7am JST) correspond to those used by Ricoh Imaging for their announcements.

This is good to hear. I have two questions.

Can anyone say how that wireless spec compares to other Ricoh/Pentax cameras? I don’t know much about what those letters mean, beyond the vague idea that they go in ascending order of speed/range.

Mistral75 - Is there a particular reason why you think this is s Pentax, rather than a Theta or something?

A camera that basically has all the features of the k-70, but adds wireless charging, an internet browser, and 25 new color schemes.

Look at company name.
Pentax cameras have リコーイメージング株式会社 (Ricoh Imaging Co.)
Ricoh stuff has 株式会社リコー (Ricoh Company, Ltd)

The R02020 has 株式会社リコー as company name.
