I'm not sure about that. When the KP number was registered in Indonesia (if I remember correctly), some people suggested it was for a Pentax colonoscopy device, but it really came out as a Pentax KP a couple of weeks later.

G900 is without doubt rugged construction site camera.
If R02020 equals G900 is another question.

Indeed. This registration was in Chinese, so presumably it is a model they will sell in China or Taiwan. I'm not sure whether the Gx00 series is sold there. It could equally be the WG-6, or something more interesting to come.

Its features include Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth. It supports DC 5V power charging via USB.

The authority is National Communications Commission (NCC) of Taiwan, not China.
Thanks.

Looks like they've adopted the same base design for both of them.

I actually think these look a lot smarter than their predecessors. They have a new sensor too, so they should perform a little better.

When this is wg-6, does that mean that wg-5 sold out so quickly?

G900 has a small sensor I think. Not 1"

Very disappointing if it ends up being one of these rugged P&S.
Like if GRIII was not an anecdote already...

Ricoh WG-5 was announced in February 2015, one year after WG-4. It's Ricoh WG-60 that was the latest waterproof compact camera announced by Ricoh Imaging, in October 2018.

The body is chemical resistance, waterproof, dust proof and impact resistant.
