nice carbon fiber hood on the dfa 100mm macro

also, dlc has been used as a coating on motorcycle parts (forks) to reduce friction for a while now... there are many many places that do it, you can send them just about anything metal and they'll coat it.

Nor have I seen the same regarding a FF DSLR either. Very simple logic would point toward a high spec APS-C since it was mentioned by @JPT in some of his reporting from CP+. Please note, I am expressing my opinion just like you and we both could be incorrect or both could be correct.

That is correct.

I am basing my timing information on the first on-stage interview conducted by Kimio Tanaka - he was disappointed by a timeline that seemed to stretch out close to CP+ 2020; he conducted this interview on their behalf and in Japanese, so I have no reason to question their answers. I believe comments after that were tailored based on his reaction, but of course none of us knows what is behind their thinking

Booo... buying a Red Sox or Yanks cap is like going to the Netherlands and buying an Ajax or PSV kit like every other tourist. You're a Pentaxian, you should have bought the cap of an obscure minor league team, or the Orioles or the Pirates. Not that there's much difference between the three.

I too went shopping for a cap on Cape Cod, also on Martha's Vineyard, and couldn't find a single one made in the USA. Most were from Bangladesh, as I recall, but I think some were Chinese...

The funny thing was that in JFK library and Museum in Boston there was only one memorabilia "Made in the USA" and all the rest in China and the likes.

How about "Make Pentax Relevant Again"

I love the look of the new D-FA* 85mm lens. I'm sure it will be an excellent lens, but Ricoh has to improve the AF speed and accuracy of the cameras. I'm really hoping they can make the hybrid OVF a reality.
