This is the internet equivalent of a bunch of photographers having a chat over a beer. Getting huffy because they aren't providing independently verifiable facts from personal experience within the Ricoh boardroom is a pointless at best.

I think they get huffy because there is no actual beer on the internet...

And it isn’t as much fun to chat over pictures of beer...

Regardless, that seems to be a defining quality of the internet...

My only interest in any of these Ricoh products is in how they might affect K-mount products. Hopefully none of them do but Im afraid atleast indirectly they might. In addition I think all of these Ricoh product discussions should be moved to the "Non Pentax Cameras" section.

In general, when Pentax Forums talks about "Pentax", they really mean "Ricoh / Pentax".

The section labeled "Pentax Cameras" has sections named

* DSLR Specific - with a subsection for each camera or group of cameras

* Pentax Mirrorless - with K-01 and "Q" subsections

.....

* Ricoh Theta

* Pentax Compact - with a Ricoh GR subsection .... Theta and WG should probably be subsections here also

According to a press release published today on Ricoh Imaging's Japanese website:

コンパクトデジタルカメラ「RICOH WG-6」「RICOH G900」「RICOH G900 安心保証モデル」「RICOH G900SE」、360°カメラ「RICOH THETA Z1」発売日変更についてのお知らせ｜RICOH IMAGING (which means: 'Information on the release date of the compact digital cameras (...) and 360° camera (...))

Ricoh Theta Z1 and WG-6, previously scheduled for release in late March, as well as Ricoh G900/G900SE, scheduled for release in late May, are delayed.

The official reason for the delay is: 'Because it takes more time for final adjustment to achieve the planned performance' (予定している性能を実現するにあたり、最終調整にさらなる時間を要するため)

No new release date has been decided yet. The cameras are said to be 'coming soon' (近日発売)

There is a new press release published today on Ricoh Imaging's Japanese website:

Ricoh WG-6 will be released on Friday 19 April whilst Theta Z1 is scheduled to be released on Friday 24 May, respectively one month and two months later than originally anticipated.

The release date of Ricoh G900 and G900SE is still to be decided.

According to the RIcoh Imaging France newsletter I just received, the Ricoh G900 should be available in early July.
