I'd be happy with no shutter shock, maybe better af and more focus points in general, the 42mp or 45mp sensor if they have access to it. That's about it I think, I'm personally very happy with my K-1 for tripod shots, when I can use the ES and a tripod to achieve maximum sharpness. Come to think of it, maybe when I get the GRIII I won't ever need to take the K-1 to trips lol, maybe I don't need a new body after all.

I’d like to have second body to company my K-1. would want it to be the ’new’ model to take over from K-1, not just improved one. 36 MP is great! not more needed...

Really hoping they follow the industry trend and release a full frame mirrorless and bring some new life to the company.
The mirrorless feature would change everything regardless of the other specs. simply because mirrorless make a huge difference for taking photographs. Just thinking about everything I could do with a mirrorless feature that there is no way I can do with a DSLR, that's huge.

Shutter shock ruined my shots. Last week I've printed a A0 sized print, I couldn't hang it on the wall, I immediately the pixels were not sharp when looking very close. Would be nice that the firmware automatically switch to ES for shutter speeds < 1/100 and > 1/10, like the Fuji GFX50 does.

Out of curiosity, what kinds of things did you have in mind?

I just want to be able to use a broader range of shutter speeds when hand holding.. If it's was just 1/125 I'd not even notice it. But for me it's 1/25 to 1/200, which is a lot. Thankfully I will rectify this by buying a GRIII and just using k-1 for landscapes.

When I used the K1 at the beginning with the D-FA28-105, I had two photo session that returned me blurred images, I didn't know what to think about it. Later, I enabled SR permanently, it never reoccurred that I get images blurred by shutter shock even if the sharpness isn't the very best, it's always been reasonably good. My K1 II shutter sounds softer than my K1, I can put them side by side and notice the difference, K1 II sound is like if the camera is under a cushion... maybe some damping elements missing in the original K1. Enabling SR makes is a non-issue.

Yeah I think I saw people saying k-1 II has less issues with shutter shock. I'm hoping the next update won't have those issues either, it bummed me out few times after looking at images at home, they always look sharp on the small preview screen) especially with the dfa 28-105, I guess it's just an unfortunate combo (don't know what it is, weight or construction of both products). I believe i have less issues with the 15-30, but I'm not entirely sure since I mostly use that lens for landscapes and almost always use a tripod outdoors

It must be because of I don't have 28-105, but really don't know all this fuzz about shuttershock. . . but it must be there root of that issue 28-105.

I've noticed it with da 50, Tamron 70-200 and my other lenses, just to a smaller extent. Very noticeable with 28-105 though. It must be a unit by unit variation, because with my camera it's clear as day as soon as you open the file on the computer..

I would love to read all the screaming around here should Ricoh release another update to the K-1 before a new APS-C body
