And Tilt Shift with rear filter slot!
With 2.5% pincushion distortion to make ladies look slimmer than they actually are. The tilt/shift can be useful as you can make skinny guys look like a Hercules.

Well, with everyone's input it's become a fantastic product, I'm buying one!
With all those features, it's not going to be cheap, kinda Leica price.

I'd like the K-1 III to have a pink squirrel detector bell on top that goes "bing", whenever a red squirrel is closer than 10 meters.I do consider this feature at least twice as important as the funny ideas mentioned on the last few pages. Can we please brainstorm how to implement this?
It's easy. Install an IR proximity detector on camera hot-shoe. When something moving is found by the IR detector, switch on life view + red squirrel recognition algorithm. If there is a red squirrel in the frame , ring camera buzzer.

I've been thinking about a high powered pellet gun that goes "tack!" when a squirrel is in range. Tasty, them squirrels is.

Got this idea one abnormally hot November day, sitting in a deer stand waiting for zero deer to come by in that heat....but surrounded by what I can only describe as a squirrel Carnival/Circus. Sooooo many squirrels, and me with only 12 ga. slugs.

I don't think "Rupert" would agree - he's the one who asked once if a passer-by had given artificial respiration to a squirrel who was road-kill.

I would be more concerned about Otis and his army of squirrels.

Isn’t that why Ricoh started development of the O-GPS2? For the built-in squirrel targeting system

Yes, O-GPS stands for Omniscient - General Pointer at Squirrels that works with the new Rodent-Tracer stabilization system and improved beady-eye AF.

No doubt, it's all based on the latest and greatest in fuzzy logic.

Thank you.

Now lets hope it's here while I'm still here, and that it will be a K3-3 style of change between generations.

Thanks. Any sort of a timeline?
I hope you mean "production planning" rather than "thinking about its basic specs"

SR, in fact, stands for Squirrel Recording - it keeps the sensor steady for the critters.
