Yes, Samsung has said that they are investigating the possibility, and Pentax has said that they hope to continue with producing the Samsung-branded DSLR - those comments was made in spring 2007.

I do wonder if Pentax has enough production capacity to support a full line up of Samsung DSLR's, which may be one of the reasons that Samsung only has the GX-20 on the market. More investments must be made here and I don't believe Hoya is interrested in paying for expanding the capacity - but Samsung may be interested in a joint-venture operation of the Pentax (Hoya) camera factories in the Phillipines.
Couple of thoughts. One, Pentax talked about Samsung doing some of the assembly very early in the "relationship". Seems to be a lack of commitment on both parties.
Secondly, I assume Samsung now wants to sell Samsung APS-C sensors, not Sony.
Seems logical at this point to not sell a GX-200 or whatever.

Yes but they really could use a Pentax body and put a Samsung sensor in it...
Let's say a K-m with 14.6Mpix
