I’m glad the “story continues”, but I really hope they start adding pages to their story book a bit more frequently than during the last year!

Is this a credible tease? I guess if it comes from pentax... I have not wanted to get rid of my K5iis since the first day. I looked around though... I am due for an upgrade lol 😂

So they are going to add 4k in their next camera?
4K (as in the title: '4K Pentax100Animation') because the video/animation is available in 2160p from YouTube.

No love for the Pentax EI-2000 and EI-3000? The EI-2000 was sold. What about the EI-C90? There is a window before the *ist-D where there are a few digital cameras in there. You can't ignore the transition period from film to digital without talking about these cameras.

4K? Why would Pentax users want a Zorki?
Easy on the Zorki! I am a Pentax user and own a 4K. I wanted it because it sounded like a good idea at the time and I kept it because it is fun.

For those not in the know...

KMZ Zorki-4K, Soviet-era MILC, Jupiter-8 50/2.0 mounted

Well ahead of its time, apparently!

Cool looking camera. Rugged, I bet.

I was looking out for the SFX and SFXn. (SF1 and SF1n in some markets) First SLR with a built in flash.

Or the homely but popular SF7 (SF10 in some markets).

The first camera to take a picture of a Terminator...

But really, in certain places the K1000 is the missing one unless there is more to this than a history lesson...

The K100 was skipped too! I only just noticed that. Bizarre.

What's with all the faux dirt and scratches. Back in the day, if I showed someone a film (I was shooting Super 8) with filthy film, then I would be laughed out of the room. Today when looking at the "faux film users" output, the film has dust all over it. I know it is faked, because when you look at two images next to each other, the same dust is in the same place of the image.

The garbage in the clip is, to me, highly unprofessional. It is sad to see Pentax stoop to such drivel.

The reasons for the jump in history is because the video is exactly 1:00 long. You know, for the 100th anniversary of Asahi/Pentax.

Your signature is an understatement. I don't know if you know this but it's no longer the 50s/60s and such old film would probably have dirt and scratches and thus the faux effect.

But hey don't let me stop your fun hating.

It's mainly just this section. News and Rumors should be renamed to the "Complaintorium".
